The rights issue opens on Thursday July 10th, 2008. The process runs from July 10th, 2008 to August 13, 2008. Information on payment and filling in of Provisional Allotment Letters can be obtained from your selling Agent. (Registered brokers)

Only shareholders who execute their Provisional Allotment Letters (PALs) and make payment for their rights by August 13th, 2008 will be allotted the new shares.
The Rights price is Ushs 1,100 and shareholders are entitled to one (1) new ordinary shares for every two (2) shares held as at June 26th, 2008. Any shareholder who has not received the Information Memorandum and Provisional Allotment Letters sent on June 30th, 2008 should contact:

Procedure for Application
1. Check your Mail box for the Provisional Allocation Letter(Application form) and Information Memorandum.
2. Read and understand the Information Memorandum and seek clarification on how to fill the (PAL) form from your Broker Agent.
3. Effect payment for the Rights purchase upon instruction by your Broker Agent.
4. Submit PAL Application form with proof of payment attached through your Broker Agent.
All Application forms must be forwarded by the 13th August 2008, to any of the Authorized Broker Agents as the last and final stage of the application procedure, with evidence of payment attached.
NOTE: FOR UPCOUNTRY SHAREHOLDERS
Shareholders not resident in Kampala can effect payment to the New Vision Rights Issue Account through Standard Chartered Upcountry Branches in Jinja, Mbarara, Gulu, and Mbale
OR correspondent Centenary Bank upcountry branches in the towns below:
Arua, Bugiri, Fortporta,l Hoima, Ibanda, Ishaka, Kabale, Kasese, Kiboga, Kitgum,
Kyenjojo, Kyotera, Lira, Masaka, Mityana, Mukono, Nebbi, Rukungiri, Soroti, Tororo
Wakiso and Wobulenzi
Once payment is effected, The Provisional Allotment Letter will be forwarded by your bank through the Central processing desk at Standard Chartered
Main Branch to your Authorised Broker Agent. (Please endeavor to communicate with your Broker Agent on submission)
