Background
Ndejje University was first established in 1992 as a private venture. At the time, it was a community oriented and Christian-based centre of higher learning. It continued operating as such until 2002 when ownership of the University was enlarged to include six church of Uganda Dioceses. It was registered by government in 1998.
The University has two campuses. The main campus is located at Ndejje 26 miles north of Kampala, on the Kampala-Bombo-Gulu Road. It is located on 200 acres of land. There is another campus located on Balintuma Road, old Kampala. This is largely for the working class.
